I have been working on yet another snowflake from Laura's tatting muse.
I spent a lot of time taking many pictures but in the end I still can not figure out how to take a neat picture in which all stitches are vividly visible! I see very beautiful and clear pictures of all your tattings and I would be very thankful if you could teach me the trick :)
Over all I'm happy with the results and I am yet up to another motif ! so stay tuned and update me with your beautiful tattings :)
Wonderful snowflake! :)
ReplyDeletePretty snowflake :) as for the camera trick, I don't have one, it is just playing with your camera, and normally it is in the digital camera settings. Sometimes I am lucky enough to remember which settings they are and usually not. If I have to use my hubbies camera I can't ever remember what the settings for closeups are. Sorry I can't be more useful on that, but experiment with your camera and see, you can always delete pictures until you find the settings you like :)
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!
ReplyDeleteIf you use Picasa - http://picasa.google.com/ - to download from your camera, there are a few editing things that might be helpful for you - sharpening is good if not overdone.
Fox : )
For the tatting photos on my blog, I prefer to scan them at 300 dpi. The image files are large, so I then use a filter to sharpen them (not too much or they look unnatural) and re-save to comply with bloggers size requirements.
